This isn’t the best picture, taken with a phone. But yesterday was our wedding anniversary: 22 years of bliss ๐ 25 if you count the years when we first started dating. We tried a new Italian restaurant that turned out to be delicious. It was a rare warm evening in Santa Cruz, so we sat out on the patio.
My husband Charlie and I met at work. He’s an electronics engineer, and I was working as a mechanical drafter/designer and later as a project manager. We were good friends before we started dating, and I consider him my best friend and truly, my soulmate.
I feel very lucky that we found each other and have had such a wonderful marriage. It’s hard to believe that much time has passed!
Here’s a picture from our wedding.
So there you go, another glimpse into my life!
Any celebrations happening in your life?
Congratulations, Linda. I love hearing about happy marriages.
I thought you were going to say “22 blissful years; 25 if you count the 3 years that weren’t so blissful”. LOL only because I figure the short ‘down times’ in our marriage probably add up to only 2-3 years if the whole total ๐
Sammy, that’s too funny. No, all 25 have been blissful with, of course, the occasional down times. ๐ Thanks for the congrats!
Oh, that is so sweet, I love both pics, and you really haven’t changed much. ๐ Congrats, Linda. How wonderful to share so many years with someone. Our twentieth will be next year in May. Gosh, time flies.
Silvia, It is amazing how fast time is going! Congrats on your long marriage, too!
You ARE a great and lovely loving couple…it just shows! Thanks Elicia I’m a believer!
Thank you, Elicia! ๐
